Mckfresh Nail Attire Goosbumps Collection: Swatch & Review

Hello!
Today I have another Mckfresh Nail Attire collection to show you! This spooky collection is inspired by poplar 90's book series, Goosebumps! Goosebumps were hugely popular when I was at primary school but I must admit that I was too much of a scary cat to read them >.< I was more of a Saddle Club girl haha. When Kate contacted me and told me about the new collection, I was super excited because I knew the theme would produce some beautiful, dark shades and she has delivered!

The Goosebumps Collection
Consisting of 6 shades, this collection is mostly made up of rich, blackened colours with lots of interesting shimmers, sparks, and flakies. There's also a lovely glitter topper as well :)

Dead House
A dark navy shimmer with blue and pink sparks. Application was good with 3 easy coats. The pink sparks are much more evident in real life.

Swatches show 3 coats with top coat.

Be Careful What You Wish For
This one is a gorgeous duochrome that shifts from blue to purple and to pink at some angles. It applied smoothly and didn't leave brushstrokes like some chromes tend to do. You can reach opacity on its own with 2-3 coats but I decided to apply it over black to intensify the shift. I used two coats over black but adding the second coat didn't make much of a difference so I would recommend just one coat over black. It also has some subtle blue sparks through it that makes it extra special!

Swatches show 2 coats over black with top coat.

Vampire Breath
A glitter topper with lots of iridescent hex and flakies plus a scattering of holo. One coat is all you need and it gives an even distribution of glitter. This is a really versatile topper as it would look beautful over any colour but the iridescent glitter really pops over darker colours.

Swatches shows 1 coat over a subtle purple>blue>black gradient.

The next 3 shades are the shimmery flakie shades and they all have identical formulas. They all needed 3 easy coats to reach a nice even opacity.

Horrorland
A blackened blue base with blue flakies and shimmer with subtle pink and gold sparks.

Swatches show 3 coats with top coat

Camp Nightmare
A blackened green base with green flakies and shimmer as well as some red and gold sparks that pop in the sun.

Swatches show 3 coats with topcoat.

Haunted Mask
A blackened purple based polish with purple glimmers and flecks, blue sparks, gold shimmer and iridescence.

Swatches show 3 coats with top coat.

I was really pleased with this collection with it's really complex combinations of shimmers, sparks and flakies (I was having trouble identifying them at times!). If you're someone who likes to match their nail polish to the season, this collection is perfect for winter!

Availability
The Mckfresh Nail Attire Goosebumps Collection is available now from their etsy store. International buys can message Kate through the store to discuss international shipping options.

Sayuri Nail Lacquer Beyond the Shadows Collection - Swatch & Review

Evening ladies!

I have some brand new polishes from Sayuri Nail Lacquer to show you tonight! These are the first Sayuri shades that I've tried and I'm super impressed with them! The quality is fantastic and Anthea has created some amazing and interesting shades.

About Sayuri
Sayuri Nail Lacquer is an independent Australian business specialising in hand mixed nail polish. Developed by Anthea Cosentino, Sayuri was launched in March 2013 from a desire to combine her design qualification with her passion for nail polish. Anthea's design aesthetic is often described as 'quirky', and her inspirations are consistently wild and whimsical. [x]

The Beyond the Shadows Collection
Sayuri's newest collection is based around the concept of how different lighting can change the look of a polish. Each shade features glitters that change when exposed to sunlight and when viewed in the shade. The collection heavily features holographic and iridescent glitter as well as some lovely shimmer effects. Beyond the Shadows includes 9 new shades from Sayuri and I have been lucky enough to swatch 5 of them.

Moonbeam Aria
A slate grey crelly with small black hex, tiny white hex and small blue/pruple iridescent hex. This simple but beautiful shade has an amazing formula and was opaque in two coats. It's fast drying but dries rough so a good coat of top coat is needed. The iridescent glitters are not that visible in my photos but they sparkle a lot in real life!

Refraction
A blue toned teal crelly with small navy hex, silver holographic dust, and heaps of tiny blue/green iridescent hex. It has a great glitter payout and a nice, self leveling formula and is opaque in three easy coats. The holographic and iridescent glitters really come to life in the sun!

Love's Lustre
This is a dusty pastel pink scattered holo with a beautiful gold shimmer. The formula was really nice and dried to a smooth, glossy finish. Some holos tend to look a bit dull when they're not in the sunlight but the lovely soft gold shimmer flashes in an array of different lights.

Luminous Illusion
A warm toned royal purple crelly with a strong blue shimmer. The striking shimmer effect is really evident when outside in the shade. I did have to be careful when applying this one as it is a bit prone to balding/patchiness but with 3 carefully applied coats, the shade is really stunning and well worth the effort.

Rainbow Shards
A gorgeous glitter topper that is filled to the brim with every colour of iridescent flakies available! This lovely rainbow glitter shade will look pretty over any colour but I opted to swatch it over a slate grey creme. It applies really well and the flakies spread evenly and smoothly without the need of pushing/dabbing.
